PLEASE READ FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

- Food should be in a sealable bag or container. ALL FOOD (dry, cooked, raw, frozen), except canned, MUST BE PORTIONED PER MEAL, BAGGED PER MEAL AND EACH BAG LABELED WITH DOG'S FIRST and LAST NAME. All cans must be labeled with dog’s first and last name on the side of the can. Bags should ONLY be labelled for a specific meal (i.e., AM, noon, PM) if the quantity of food for meals on a given day is different per meal. Please DO NOT date bags. There will be a fee added to your invoice for any bagging/labelling that needs to be done by WAGD. MULTIPLE DOGS: Each dog's food/treats/supplements MUST be bagged and labelled separately.

- TREATS: We do not accept rawhides/bully sticks or any possible treat that is a choking hazard. WHAT A GOOD DOG HAS THE DISCRETION TO DENY ITEMS THAT ARE DEEMED NOT SAFE. Treats should be something that your dog is used to. Many of the dogs who stay with us get bedtime treats. In case you forget, we have Saint Rocco's treats and sprinkles available for purchase at check-in.

- WAGD DOES NOT provide kongs or other treat toys. Kongs/treat puzzles MUST be labeled with dog’s name.

- PLEASE BRING SUPPLEMENTS TO BE ADDED TO FOOD IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING. DO NOT PRE-MIX IN FOOD OR PLACE IN PILL POCKET.

- DUE TO THE POSSIBLE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RAISED FEEDERS AND BLOAT, WE DO NOT FEED DOGS IN RAISED FEEDERS UNLESS THERE IS A NEUROLOGICAL OR ORTHOPEDIC ISSUE VERIFIED BY A VETERINARIAN.

FOR EACH MEAL AND TREAT, PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS THAT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

1. Name of Food/Treat Supplement - REQUIRED

2. Serving Size (i.e., 1 bag = 2 cups; 1/2 can, 2Tablespoons) - REQUIRED

3. The Time of Day for Feeding - REQUIRED

4. Any special instructions

Feeding Instructions. List main meals, treats and any other specific instructions.

EXAMPLE - Purina Savor Chicken and Rice Adult., 1 bag (1 cup), Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Add 1 Tablespoon of water and 3 Tablespoons plain yogurt to all meals. TREAT: Saint Rocco's Treats, Meat Lover, 1 strip, bedtime, break in 5-6 bite-size pieces.

ACTVITIES/EXERCISE: Select any activity(ies) that you would like your dog to have, including frequency, time of day (morning, afternoon, evening) and any special instructions. Every dog staying with us receives regular, supervised time outside, 6-7 times/day. For some dogs, the inside environment and the outings are enough stimulation and activity. Other dogs, particularly energetic and younger dogs, have a better stay with an additional activity. While you request the activity(ies) and frequency, it is optimum to give us the latitude to change, increase or decrease the activities based on our observations.

Group Play - Participation in group play depends on the availability of an appropriate playmate.

If YES, you MUST list HERE an alternate activity - leash walk , field time, swim, personal/cuddle time.

Example: If Rondo does not seem interested or there isn't an appropriate playmate, she may have a leash walk in place of group play.

Please provide any special instructions for group play. If you are requesting group play but your dog does not partake in group play at What A Good Dog, please describe your dog's current off-leash dog-dog play activity.

EXAMPLE: Rondo might do best with morning group play due to her energy level. She overheats easily.

There are circumstances that may preclude activities requested or the time of the day of the activity. Those include: the interest level and health of your dog, weather conditions, staffing. Regardless of any special activity that you request, your dog will always be taken outside for their outings, six to seven times per day.
