Our Story

What A Good Dog began over 35 years ago when our founder, Mary Remer, began to utilize her extensive equine skills to work with dogs. As word of mouth spread in the community of her successful outcomes, the demand grew and a more formal training program was developed that has now served over 35,000 dogs and their families. Over the years, her clients sought additional services and Mary responded. We opened our Frazer location in 2010, offering day and overnight boarding, day play, grooming, and swimming, as well as continuing our long history of training. Today, our story continues to grow thanks to our valued customers, our superlative staff, and our dedication and devotion to all things dog.
